The Ladies’ Club LC

Sample Curriculum
This unique program was founded by Stephen & Angela Peters, and empowers girls to be their own best friends and inspires them to discover and be proud of who they are (a brother program “The Gentlemen’s Club” is also available for boys). Stephen is a former principal and teacher and Angela is a professor of chemistry. They both believe that failure is not an option and that education is the only way to true freedom for all children. LC touches the spirit of a girl giving her the self-confidence and knowledge that she needs to succeed in a male-dominated society.

Participants are led through the values, beliefs, strategies, and techniques needed to foster a school climate and culture (or a community-based program) that gives children hope. Participants analyze the 20 units contained in the curriculum and how they are holistically integrated to change student’s attitudes toward learning and the learning process.
